Moved into house. Previous owners lost remote. No way of turning fan off. No manual. Is there any way of turning fan off manually? There’s no chain switch or anything.
It sounds like the fan you have is designed to be operated by a remote only, which is why there’s no pull chain or manual switch. If the remote is lost, the best option is to purchase a replacement remote or a compatible universal remote.
In the meantime, the only way to turn it off without the remote would be to switch it off at the breaker or wall switch, if one is installed.
